Applicable Standard

BD-T1884-A10 density meter is used to measure the density of transparent, low viscosity liquids and viscous liquids. Density refers to the mass of a substance contained per unit volume at a specified temperature. The density of petroleum products increases with the increase in the amount of carbon, oxygen, and sulfur in their composition. Therefore, those containing more aromatic hydrocarbons, colloids, and asphaltenes are very dense, while those containing more naphthenes are in the middle, and those containing more naphthenes are in the middle. The one with more alkanes is the smallest. Therefore, based on the density (or specific gravity) of a petroleum product, the type and composition of the oil can be determined to some extent.

It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, transportation, commodity inspection and scientific research departments.
