BD-ASP-0705 Compacted Asphalt Mixture Density Tester is mainly based on T 0705-2011 "Density Test of Compacted Asphalt Mixtures (Top Dry Method)" in the industry standard JTG E20-2011 "Testing Procedures for Highway Engineering Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures" of the People's Republic of China, taking into account T Designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in 0706-2011 "Density Test of Compacted Asphalt Mixture (Water Gravity Method)" and T 0707-2011 "Density Test of Compacted Asphalt Mixture (Wax Seal Method)".
1. In accordance with the T 0705 standard, use the surface dry method to determine the gross volume relative density and gross volume density of various asphalt mixture specimens with a water absorption rate not greater than 2%.
2. In accordance with T 0706 standard, use the water medium gravity method to determine the apparent relative density or apparent density of dense asphalt mixture specimens with water absorption less than 0.5%.
3. In accordance with T 0707 standard, use the wax seal method to determine the gross volume relative density and gross volume density of asphalt concrete or asphalt gravel mixture specimens with a water absorption rate greater than 2%.
4. The balance equipped with this instrument can also be used to weigh the aerial mass of dry specimens in accordance with the requirements of the T 0708 standard, and then calculate the gross volume relative density and gross volume density of the specimen measured by the volumetric method.
